The “Clean-Out” Routine: After every use, perform a triple rinse:

1. Empty all remaining chemical solution safely.

2. Fill the tank with ~2 litres of clean water, agitate, and pump it through the entire system (hose, wand, and nozzle) until it runs clear.

3. Repeat this at least twice.

Lubrication: If the pump lever starts feeling “sticky” or creates a squeaking noise, the piston seals likely need lubrication. Use silicone-based grease on the piston seals. Do not use petroleum-based oils, as they can degrade rubber O-rings.

Nozzle Care: If the spray pattern becomes distorted or weak, remove the nozzle tip and soak it in warm, soapy water. Never use metal wire or needles to poke through the nozzle hole; this will permanently ruin the spray pattern by widening the opening.

Storage: Always store the unit in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight. Exposure to UV rays will cause the HDPE tank to become brittle and eventually crack over time.
